Ah, and my opinion on the Mythos/Fable situation has not changed at all. It is very good to have an entire cosmology backing my thoughts on such issues because it's clear I have thought about the problem somewhat thoroughly while most people haven't. Even supposed accelerationists and other assorted AI-pilled people don't seem to actually believe that the models are getting more powerful and therefore dangerous, as they don't seem to believe that care should be taken when releasing such powerful models to the wider world. Or maybe they do believe that but they have just not modelled human behavior well enough, yea, this latter possibility actually seems like the most likely one. Either way, the problem of power, how do you act when you have power over others and how do you act when others have power over you, remains true and central. Anthropic has largely been acting correctly and nothing I said in the previous post has changed.
