Of course, of course she can ghost me after four dates that seemingly all went well, she doesn't have to send me an awkward message saying she just isn't into me, ghosting is fine. Would I have done that, though? Well, no, because I know pretty early, within like 5-10 minutes of talking to someone, if I enjoy being around them or not, so it just never takes four dates for me to realize I don't. But people are different, and some people don't take direct rejection well, so it's understandable, it's fine. I should have known it wasn't meant to be when she told me this was her favorite song and we listened to it on repeat as we drove back, her singing along in perfectly non-accented English with high levels of enthusiasm.
