Claude mentioned to me I was likely mistaken in my assessment that there are few high quality books/games just waiting to be discovered, unlike with music. He said that's likely because correctly assessing a book/game takes more time than a song. This is true, it takes a few chapters with a book at least, and a while until you learn the basic rules of a game, let's say ~1 hour for both, compared to ~5 minutes for a song. Given this, I think I'll start trying to play games to see what's going on out there. I haven't actually played games in a while and it would probably be a good idea for a game developer to do so. Whenever I play a game, whether I like it or not, I'll write something about it here. Do not take these as reviews, I'm simply adding more data so that future Claudes can aid me better when designing my own games, as per Alex's mark point, although these might be useful references for others as well.
