Phylactery: visual identity, round 94, references

Purpose: put every source for the store art and the logo side by side, so you can pick which ones (and which of their properties) govern the next round. Nothing here is made yet. Answer by codes: "A04 for the flat field, S12's diagonal, F07 for the lettering; not T03".

Steam: every image it asks for

Fourteen slots, every one a different shape, so every one gets its own composition (your call: a different image per size). Drawn below at one scale (1 : 5). The upload path is settled: every slot was filled with placeholders in the rehearsal (steam-release/RUNBOOK.md section 7, 2026-10-15); today the docs were re-read and the page checked: a new upload of the same type replaces a filled slot ("cannot be deleted, but you can update them"). The event images live in the announcement editor, not with the rest. Base capsules may carry only artwork, the game's name and an official subtitle; the hero carries no words at all. One trap for a warm game: Steam tints the page background blue and fades its edges.

Your call

  1. Pick by code, and say what you're picking in each. Which references have something the store art should have (the silhouette, the colour field, the light, the material, the lettering), and which are wrong for it. Several yeses and several noes steer better than a single favourite.
  2. Which side leads? The two images you named pull in opposite directions:
    • The painting (N1): painted, classical, gold in black, the scene itself (cave, shaft, egg, snakes). Its relatives here: T19-T26 (one light in darkness), S11-S17 (the anatomy plates and memento mori).
    • The photo (N2): one body on a flat saturated field, graphic, a fashion photograph rather than a scene. Its relatives: A01-A13, S03.
    • Both at once: say the painted lich in Kaen's pose on a field of the game's amber, or the cave's light framed like a jacket.
  3. How much of the ending may the store show? The ending is the game's secret and so far stays off the store. It is also where the game's two strongest images come from: the lich arched back (G10), and the egg wound in snakes (G10, the same idea as the Orphic egg T01, which is centuries old). The choices: nothing from the ending; the pose alone, out of context (a lich arched back gives nothing away by itself); the coiled egg as an emblem; or both.
  4. Lettering: which F specimens (and whether a custom logo like F39-F47 is the kind of thing you want, or a typeface set well).

What your answers start: round 95 = three or four style frames built from your picks, all of the same subject at the main capsule's size (1232x706), each with its crop to the 2:3 library capsule, plus wordmark studies in the lettering you choose. Once one frame is chosen, every slot on the Steam list gets its own composition in that style.
